Centre-Surface Contact Winding
The winding arrangement forms the roll with surface contact. Assess the web’s marking sensitivity, compression behaviour and required finished-roll firmness before selecting the configuration.
SLITTING & REWINDING · QFJ-C200
Explore centre-surface contact winding with separate magnetic-powder tension control for each winding shaft. The C200 lists a 200 m/min speed, 1,000 mm parent-roll diameter and 600 mm finished-roll diameter, with minimum slit width depending on the working-width version.

Listed configuration values. Production speed and practical slit pattern depend on the material and the agreed machine setup.
Start with C200 where centre-surface contact winding is relevant to the required roll structure. Review web sensitivity, contact conditions and lane handling together. The selected width is particularly important for narrow-roll requirements: the 1,300 mm version lists a 10 mm minimum slit, while the 1,800 mm version lists 20 mm.
CONSTRUCTION & CONTROL
The winding arrangement forms the roll with surface contact. Assess the web’s marking sensitivity, compression behaviour and required finished-roll firmness before selecting the configuration.
Each winding shaft has separate magnetic-powder tension control. Review the control requirements for the selected material and roll build rather than assuming the C400 servo configuration.
The minimum slit changes from 10 mm at the listed 1,300 mm width to 20 mm at 1,800 mm. Define web width, edge trim and every lane width together.
The 1,000 mm parent and 600 mm finished diameters provide a size envelope for the initial comparison. Confirm weights, cores, loading and removal conditions separately.
MATERIAL & FINISHED ROLL
Provide PVC, BOPP, CPP, PET or composite-web construction and thickness. Check that winding contact and tension behaviour suit the surface and required output.
Specify grade, grammage and any coating. Assess edge dust, surface marking and winding firmness against the requirements of the next process.
State grade, thickness, temper and edge requirements. Use representative material to review cutting, winding contact and the condition of the finished roll.
WIDTH & DRIVE CONFIGURATIONS
| Parameter | 1300 configuration | 1800 configuration |
|---|---|---|
| Unwinding width | 1,300 mm | 1,800 mm |
| Listed slitting speed | 200 m/min | 200 m/min |
| Minimum slit width | 10 mm | 20 mm |
| Parent-roll diameter | 1,000 mm | 1,000 mm |
| Finished-roll diameter | 600 mm | 600 mm |
| Main motor power | 5.5 kW | 7.5 kW |
Drive powers are individual motor entries, not the total installed electrical load. Confirm voltage, frequency, utilities, roll weight and core interfaces with the proposed supply. Required material thickness and production tolerances are application-specific.
SETUP, OPERATION & ACCEPTANCE
Match the parent-web width and edge trim to the required slit lanes. Check the minimum slit for the selected width version.
Review loading, guiding, tension requirements and the blade arrangement before threading the intended material.
Check surface marks, roll firmness and lane separation through the roll build. Define the trial speed and conditions explicitly.
Inspect width, edge condition and roll structure, then assess how the finished roll unwinds at the next process. Include handling and maintenance access in the review.
Review the floor plan, service clearance, roll-handling route and utilities before installation. Agree commissioning and operator-training requirements with the proposal. Keep the machine identification, shaft interfaces and blade dimensions available for maintenance and spare-part inquiries.
C400 is a centre-surface alternative using separate servo-controlled winding shafts and listing 400 m/min. Its minimum slit limits and parent-roll capacities depend on version. A200 and B200 use air-shaft winding with magnetic-powder tension control; compare the contact principle and finished-roll requirement when deciding between these formats.
BEFORE YOU SPECIFY
The listed 1,800 mm configuration has a 20 mm minimum slit. The 10 mm value belongs to the 1,300 mm configuration shown. Confirm any different requirement with a matching specification.
The winding shafts described here use separate magnetic-powder tension control. Confirm the supplied drive and control arrangement in the proposal.
Contact sensitivity and the required roll build must be assessed using the actual material. Include acceptable marking and compression conditions in the trial requirements.
It lists the main motor rating for each width. Confirm total installed load, voltage, frequency and auxiliary equipment separately.
QUOTATION & SUPPLY SCOPE
Request a QFJ-C200 quotation against your material, working width and finished-roll targets. Identify the selected version, cutting and winding arrangement, loading equipment and controls in the proposed supply.
Ask for standard equipment and optional items to be listed separately. Include commissioning, operator training, documentation and initial spare-part requirements in the discussion.
Provide quantity and destination. Confirm price, currency, delivery basis, packing, production schedule and any excluded freight or import charges in the quotation.
Agree representative material inspection, measurement criteria and supplied configuration before ordering. Confirm warranty terms, installation responsibilities and spare-part support with the proposal.
