Vertical Connected Construction
The integrated vertical format provides a different arrangement from a horizontal slitter rewinder. Review height, service access and web-threading positions on the machine layout.
SLITTING & REWINDING · QFJ-B500
Explore a vertical differential-shaft configuration for film, composite webs, aluminium foil and paper. The B500 lists a 700 mm parent-roll diameter and 400 mm finished-roll diameter, with separate servo control for the winding shafts.

Listed configuration values. Production speed and practical slit pattern depend on the material and the agreed machine setup.
Consider the B500 where the web and required finished rolls fit a vertical layout with a smaller diameter envelope. Compare access for threading, core loading and finished-roll removal with your operators’ daily workflow, rather than judging installation needs from the machine image alone.
CONSTRUCTION & CONTROL
The integrated vertical format provides a different arrangement from a horizontal slitter rewinder. Review height, service access and web-threading positions on the machine layout.
Each winding shaft has separate servo control. Review differential-shaft operation around the number of lanes, core condition and the roll firmness needed for downstream use.
The configuration lists four sets of servo motor control. The selected working width determines the drive entries shown in the specification table.
The listed 400 mm finished diameter distinguishes the B500 from the A500’s 600 mm configuration. Confirm that the required roll length and material thickness fit the intended diameter.
MATERIAL & FINISHED ROLL
For PVC, BOPP, CPP and PET, specify thickness, coatings and surface sensitivity. Include any tendency to stretch, block or wrinkle during converting.
Identify layer structure, adhesive or release surfaces and the required winding direction. Confirm contact and tension conditions for the complete web.
Review grade, thickness or grammage, edge condition and finished core size. The proposed cutting method should address the particular paper or aluminium foil.
WIDTH & DRIVE CONFIGURATIONS
| Parameter | 1300 configuration | 1800 configuration |
|---|---|---|
| Unwinding width | 1,300 mm | 1,800 mm |
| Listed slitting speed | 500 m/min | 500 m/min |
| Minimum slit width | 20 mm | 20 mm |
| Parent-roll diameter | 700 mm | 700 mm |
| Finished-roll diameter | 400 mm | 400 mm |
| Main servo power | 3 kW | 4.5 kW |
| Rewinding servo power | 2 × 3 kW | 2 × 3 kW |
| Unwinding servo power | 4.5 kW | 5.5 kW |
Drive powers are individual motor entries, not the total installed electrical load. Confirm voltage, frequency, utilities, roll weight and core interfaces with the proposed supply. Required material thickness and production tolerances are application-specific.
SETUP, OPERATION & ACCEPTANCE
Match width, diameter, core and weight to the proposed loading arrangement. Plan roll access around the installed machine.
Confirm the web path and blade positions for the actual substrate. Check access for safe threading and setup.
Set up the differential shafts and cores for the slit lanes. Review winding firmness and lane behaviour during the material trial.
Check the finished width, edge and roll formation. Define removal and changeover procedures for the required roll sizes.
Review the floor plan, service clearance, roll-handling route and utilities before installation. Agree commissioning and operator-training requirements with the proposal. Keep the machine identification, shaft interfaces and blade dimensions available for maintenance and spare-part inquiries.
Compare B500 with A500 when deciding between vertical and horizontal differential-shaft layouts. A500 lists larger parent and finished diameters. B200 is a separate 200 m/min vertical configuration using magnetic-powder winding-tension control; it should not be treated as the same control system operated more slowly.
BEFORE YOU SPECIFY
A final installation layout is required. Machine footprint, maintenance clearance, loading access and the roll-removal route all contribute to the space needed.
This page describes a 400 mm finished-roll configuration. Submit any larger diameter requirement so a suitable construction can be reviewed rather than assuming the same capacity.
Specifications can differ by width and version. Use the complete matching specification, drawing and quotation when comparing a proposed machine.
It is the listed minimum slit width for this configuration. Confirm the material, cutting arrangement and practical lane pattern before treating it as an operating capability.
MATERIAL & PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS
Compare material requirements and winding formats before defining the final machine configuration.
QUOTATION & SUPPLY SCOPE
Request a QFJ-B500 quotation against your material, working width and finished-roll targets. Identify the selected version, cutting and winding arrangement, loading equipment and controls in the proposed supply.
Ask for standard equipment and optional items to be listed separately. Include commissioning, operator training, documentation and initial spare-part requirements in the discussion.
Provide quantity and destination. Confirm price, currency, delivery basis, packing, production schedule and any excluded freight or import charges in the quotation.
Agree representative material inspection, measurement criteria and supplied configuration before ordering. Confirm warranty terms, installation responsibilities and spare-part support with the proposal.
